Coalseam or Ningham Station.

Would it be to late for the wildflowers at Coalseam. We were thinking of stopping a night at Western Flora then a couple at Coalseam next weekend then home. Were told that Ningham station has good walking and wildflowers as well, bout the same distance from Bunbury just further inland. Were thinking of Mount Gibson but this is closed till next year .Only have 4 days .

Cheers Graeme.

Gidday

Coalseam two weeks ago was great and there has been some light rain in the midwest in the last week so that should keep the daisies fresh.

Cheers

Hi Graeme W, we went up there a few days ago, went up to the Ningham Yalgoo Rd just south of Paynes Find heading through to Yalgoo, the flowers were beautiful through there, an absolute carpet. Wreath Flowers were found on the Goodlands Rd about 8klms in, there are red markers showing where they are. There is also some fantastic Wreath Flowers at Pindar on the Magnet Yalgoo rd.

Cheers

Hi Graeme w
Just returned as in half hour ago from 330 ks round trip Geraldton Mullewa then 25 ks east looking for wreath flowers which we didn't find on to Coalseam and home via Walkaway. We were at Mullewa 2 weeks ago not a wattle to be seen then, but today fantastic all in flower . General wild flowers are still fabulous and coalsteam was a picture (just a hint get to the park early look pretty full at 3.30). It was noticed that the pink everlastings had gone but replaced with the most vivid yellow one.
IMHO a must do

Hi Graeme, I live at Maya, we have a block near Mongers Lake where the Barrier fence crosses the lake, the orchards and everlastings are the best I have ever seen them, there is 500 acres of bush and granite rocks, worth a look at if you are interested. Watery.
