Went to the Riverland field days last week and had a look at a few caravans and one we liked was a Paradise about 19 to 20 foot off road.

Anyone got one or know much about this caravan maker.

It looked well made , I'm a novice with caravans but didn't notice any dodgy unfinished bits or any rough fabrication anywhere.

Cheers Scoof . :-]

I've had a look at them at a couple of caravan shows and they appear to be pretty good, but the proven pedigree of a van is a trip to the cape and back without to many hassles. Personally I'd wait until the jury comes in.

Hi we have a Paradise Explorer XL 24ft setup for touring and using free camp sites so to speak. Has a longer 6in drawbar, 6in Chassis, 3500kg Simplicity suspension, 12in Electric Brakes, 16in 5 stud cruiser wheels. 2x125w Solar panels, 2000VA Victron invertor, 3 deepcycle Battieries, 12v 230Ltr fridge Did a trip to Sydney down the New England and came home by the Newel Hwy. The week or so we in it in Sydney was great and the camps we had on the way down and back tested everything. It towed well behind our 76 series Cruiser without any problems. The big test will be in November when we head off on a tour to Perth and other destinations in WA for 3 years.

Crow is this brand a new comer or have they been around for a while, they look well finished off and neat.

You sound like you know what your on about and your van sounds like a awesome set up. Have you owned vans before because it sounds like it.

Cheers Scoof . :-)

Yer we are onto our 4th van now. Our first van was a 30ft Glendale that was setup for 2 with shower toilet and the like in 84 towed it around western QLD when I was shearing. The second was an old Millard that we used to take camping with the kids it also did the block in 06 a great trip that was. The 3rd was a 625 Coromal that we towed to the Kimberly and Pilbara last year. We upgraded this year with the things we wanted so had the van custom built. Hopefully we won't need to by another. I have just added some photos of our previous vans.

G/Day Scoof

We were recently eyeing of the 2 door model, seems well constructed, and not a bad price from memory it was just a bit over $79k, I would give it some serious thought when we go on the road for an extended period, I just don't recall the weight of it, they sell them up at Ipswich in QLD,

PS it had one of the roomiest ensuites I have seen in a caravan.

Cheers
