We are planning a two week trip from
Sydney to
Wilson's Prom in early October. Our plan is to spend a week travelling down the east coast, we are then going to a wedding near
Wilson's Prom, then spend a week travelling back up the coast.
We want to spend a few days in
Croajingolong National Park but have noticed that there are quite a few seasonal road closure's in the
park until the end of October.

Will these road closures make it too difficult to get around the
park and totally appreciate the
park.
Would we be better off visiting
Croajingolong when there are no road closures?
We are driving a 80 series cruiser towing a Cub camper trailer.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Mick

G'day Mick,
I have been a camper in these parts since 1960's and unfortunately many tracks in the area have been permanently closed probably dating from the 1970's and 1980's.The current seasonal track closures will certainly impede your travel and opportunity to see it properly. It is a beautiful part of the world and I would try and get back when the roads are reopened but keep away in peak season as is very crowded and available
camp sites are issued
well before hand. The first week in November can also be busy as the
Melbourne Cup holiday is an opportunity to get away. You can walk the tracks if you are into that kind of thing! Enjoy your trip.
