We are in Goondi having breakfast at the moment and the wind and dust is unreal. Blowing around 40 to 50 kph and the vis is about 500 meters, we were bushing camping last night and when I awoke to go for a walk I could not see anything thought it was fog until I tasted the dust. so we will be in St George a day early so we can wash the dust off. Fuel economy is likely to plummet as we are heading straight into the wind. will give another report when we get to St G

Several years ago, I bought shares in GUD Holdings (Ryco's parent company) at around $2....

Currently trading around the $9 mark, and they also pay a 'handsome dividend' (twice a year)...

I'm more than happy with this company..............

You have some more wind and dust coming Bruce, I put on an earlier post about the severe weather that the Packsaddle to Tibooburra road is closed this morning due to dust and low visibility.

Imagine, closing an outback road due to dust!!!!!!!!!.

All that should reach you by about tea time tonight, so you better figure out some food that mixes well with dust.

There were lots of CT's parked at the motels here over the last 2 nights.
Don't blame them at all.

Catch up next week

The Sydney planes starting coming in over us (south side of Brisy) about 6am.
There were 14 international jumbos parked at Brisy this morning after being redirected from Sydney. Had one every 2 minutes.
