Thanks Mark,
I made the drawers today, fail!!!

i am looking at your pics now.

I tried to do it on the cheap and use bunnings draw slides. end state, not good.

im going to try it again with H/D 100kg slides next weekend. will be a lot better

Mark,
how did you attach the frame to the floor, or does it rely on the weight of everything to hold in place?

Thanks

the drawers are attached to the mounting points on the floor of the troll. took a couple of measurements and drilled into the base of the draw frame, bolted draws down.

i need the drawer frame bolted down due to the weight of the drawer when opened. otherwise the whole shabang would tilt up when opened

yes and no.

i dont want the whole lot to come out.
if i want to take it out for some reason, i just remove the top of the drawer and it will come out.

a 1/2 cage is going in next, so i wont be able to use the whole back as storage anyway.

got the drawers, carpet and fridge slide to do still, early days

Greg,

For home made drawers to run properly you'll need to get some decent quality slides. Try Hafele in Dandenong. They do slides rated to 100 kg and more, but they're not cheap. If you for 700mm extension expect to pay about $120/pair and 900mm gets to over $200/pair. Obviously you'll need two pairs.

Cheers,

Jim.
