Hi weegle
Are you aware of two books

And if her droughts are bitter by Gladys Linke. Its about Carnegie Station.
and
Wiluna Edge of the desert by Phil Heydon

Both are Hesperian press publications. Wiluna is still available via mail order - go to
http://www.hesperianpress.com/w_title/wiluna.html

Linke's book is out of print but may be available through your library or second hand

cheers

There is a lot of difference between
‘Human Being’ and ‘Being Human’.
