Just based on the few times that I have passed through there I wouldn't higlight it as a great tourist spot. Did he work there, or on one of the surrounding
mine sites? One of the mines I worked at there had a safety-policy that you had to
sign a register before heading off to
Wiluna, were only allowed to go there during daylight hours and had to have a valid reason.

Thanks for that snowy,Yes Dad did work all around that area and i know he Built the
Carnegie homestead and surrounding buildings/quarters. and yes i think i remember him talking about the going there in daylight hrs , I lived there in
Wiluna when i was 2 ,so i have no memories of it ? Cheers

Stopped at the caravan park/
camping area from hell before commencing the Canning for one night and definitely will not be returning for another.(do not touch the walls in the amenities block,a quote from a female traveller on the Canning) Very true.

I forgot to tell you that there are many old photos on the walls in a special room at the pub. I spent an hour looking through them. They are all historical value, you may find what your looking for there.
