Just wondering when Mick gets back to speed this site up a bit, it's been slow for a fair while now.

I think they have done some tweaking - I am down to being shaped for the rest of the month and can just get the pages to load after a while. Before when being shaped no chance - they would just time out.

Definitely progress has been made.

its dragged on for an awful long time now.
Perhaps time to get an expert in to find the problem as not much seems to be happening?
Or arent they bothered about it, I'd have expected an update from management if significant progress had been made.
They are on here quick enough to stifle discussion-perhaps might be best to stop shuffling the deckchairs and concentrate on plugging the leak?

I have been having troubles updating my own website as well and was talking to my webmaster this morning about it. He suggested I switched to Firefox as my Browser. I did and it worked well. Even this site is 100 times faster now. So its out with Internet Explorer 8 and hopefully Firefox will keep things going faster!!

Guys,

I haven't found Firefox or Google Chrome to be much better than Internet Explorer (7).

No where near as good as it used to be. There is still a problem with either the Server bank or a routing issue.

Willem,

Now that you have firefox, you should try this as well:

http://adblockplus.org/en/

It will stop a lot of banner ads and flash ads from loading on a lot of pages. Speeds things up no end.

Cheers,

Warren.

Thanks Warren. It does stop some of them but not all. But it has speeded things up :-)

Cheers

Why don't you email David direct and ask him.

Sites running very well for the last few days, fast as its ever been with IE8.
Slight problem with the login this morning, took a couple of goes.
