Can't answer your question Simoone but I cannot understand how some "startup" company can register their "brand name" virtually the same as a well established and premium branded name that already exists.

Pretty poor form I think, trying to piggy back on an already recognised brand name.

Adventure Campers are based in Edwardstown South Australia.

Business names are registered to each state. Means you can have same names in different states.

I agree - poor form when one has worked hard to get an Australia wide reputation and someone else jumps on that - and might not provide the same product.

Agree that old fashioned morals seem to be out the window
Unfortunately a sign of the times guys! I see it every day at work, today a handshake agreement doesn't mean a thing.
Also to patent your design doesn't something seem to do jack these days!

"Pretty poor form I think, trying to piggy back on an already recognised brand name."

This is no different to the "Now named" Allterrain 4wd fabricating and selling the same design wheel carrier of K&N Strongarm, but using the good name of Strongarm to market them.
After legalities he still continues to fabricate and sell them but under his new name Allterrain????
In saying this both companies K&N Strongarm and AT 4wd are doing well out of them one being in WA and the other in VIC.
Now!!!! when you have a look at the Opposite lock wheel carrier It's exactly the same as the other two companies??????
All different prices - All the same design - All different companies - All very good wheel carriers.
My point is this "piggy backing" is happening everywhere, this is just one example of a good product sold by 3 different companies " BUT " they all seem to be doing well out of it.

simoone,

As well as this site, another good forum for any camper trailer related questions would be at myswag.org

Cheers
