Just finished a bit of editing putting together some clips and photos on the Connie Sue Highway. Camped the previous night 80 kilometres north of the Anne Beadell and Neale Junction. Finished the day on the Rawlinna cut, the station track heading the last 80 km to Rawlinna and the Trans Australian Rail Line. I've even gotten clever enough to add music! Blog will pop up shortly for those who are interested.

Cheers Mick

Hi Mick. Really nice to watch and gets you envious a bit. Looks like there was a bit of traffic by the amount of wheel tracks before you. Well done, look forward to seeing some more soon. Bob.

Hi Bob
The Connie Sue is an unreal track, with unreal scenery, and should be a "Must Do" track for anyone that likes to travel any of Len Beadells Tracks. They claim that about 500 vehicles travel the Anne Beadell Highway each year, and that numbers is Peak Hour Traffic compared to the very small number that travel the Connie Sue Highway. The biggest traffic jams out there, are the camels that insist that it is their highway, and use it as a main thorough fare.

Cheers

Stephen

Thanks Bob and Fred. Yes a few on it. The locals use it as a run south as well. I was surprised at the great condition the track was in. There were some Horror stretches though, mainly up the top end. The last 130 km down through the limestone country to Rawlinna is a slow haul as well. Glad you enjoyed it.

Hi Mick
Thanks for sharing another great video clip of the Connie Sue. It is a great track. Next time you will have to do the Aboriginal Art site, it is unreal. At least you had Neale Junction to yourself. After 5 nights out on the Connie Sue and Sydney Yeo Track, and not a vehicle to be seen, we met other vehicle at the Junction and it seemed like real civilization, in the middle of nowhere.

Keep them Coming.

Cheers

I did a few myself in the 80's PJK. Different times all right. Many good stories to be had out there. These days I always seem to be a few days in front or behind Connie Sue Beadell and her Husband Mick Hutton. Hope to run into them one day. Glad you enjoyed it.
