goodday all
well just checked the string and its pretty wet (lady manager at park says up to 50mm today )this bit if string is more reliable than the BOM so we will move on tomorrow towards Broken Hill and do the darling another time which is a pity as there may be a bit of water running with this rain otherwise it(the river) looks pretty sad

G/day Steve, sorry mate, nothing worse than soggy string,BrokenHill is interesting, heaps to see there. Why not go out to Menindee from the Hill and have a look around, you could do the bottom half of the river run from there, thru Pooncarie etc., down to Wentworth, beautiful country thru there, come back up the other side if you want,Regards Keith

Bad luck Steve. Looks like we timed it right, before the rain and after the school holiday rush. With your frequent trips to the Ridge, you've got plenty of opportunities to come.

Hey Steve, no rain here at Broken Hill so you can dry your camper out here. As the previous poster said, start your darling river run from Menindee (you might want to check first, they may have had some rain and with them roads 5mm can make them a mess to drive on).

Happy travelling.

Steve, it's going to be in the mid 30's later this week, so everything will dry out quick.
The only rain anywhere near here is at Bourke hahaha.
