Thanks,

G'day JazzyDG,
It is very unlikely you will make it to Numbulwar in mid January. You need to cross the Wilton River which is the first to rise as the catchment is in central Arnhemland. Then you have a dozen or so creeks that can rise overnight, Then you have the Rose River. There is also some long mud flats.
You may be lucky if we have a late wet, BUT.... if the wet starts you could be stranded until June. If I had to do it I would watch the weather very carefully and I'd go in a straight out again.

Where do you plan to go from Numbulwar, or are you going there for work?
Now is the only time you own
Decide now what you will,
Place faith not in tomorrow
For the clock may then be still

Thanks guys, I don't think we're gonna risk it, looking at pictures of the track on other posts it looks impossible!

We work for Mission Aviation Fellowship as pilots and Numbulwar is our new home. We wanted to drive up from Sydney, but we're now thinking of leaving our car with friends in Katherine and waiting for the dry to drive it in.

Thanks again for your comments.
