Hi Guys,
We've just bought a secondhand 2005 Jayco Dove Outback ready for our 12 weeks across the top adventure next winter (Brissie to
Exmouth).
The camper came with a Fiamma awning and no annexe. We've now been told that these awnings are'nt strong enough for annexe walls but as we really need some sort of outside structure, can anyone suggest something suitable for the Fiamma.. We thought perhaps shade cloth side walls if we used some sort of poles under the awning for support? Or would these be too heavy also? We've even thought maybe a stand alone 'gazebo' from K-Mart might just suffice?
If anyone has a Fiamma and/or any suggestions would be great.
Cheers...Lynnie

HI There is a company that will make them in
Maroochydore - I found them at the Rosehill caravan and
camping show this year, and after that they were heading off to
Melbourne for that show.
Unfortunately I cant find their number now. I was looking at same awning on my swan and was looking at annexe options. When I spoke to them they would come to you (if you are local) and measure up, then make it and come back and fit it. For me being in
Sydney it worked out cheaper to travel up for a holiday and they said they would do all measurements and install in the van park while we were there. They said just go off and enjoy yourself and it would be done while we were away enjoying our holiday. I could not find anyone else at the show that offered same confidence and professionalism. It was just too hard for some of them there, and plain too expensive from others. In the end I have not done anything just yet as I decide on the future of my travel plans, vans etc. If i find the card i will post up their details, but would recommend you do some research on similar businesses there and hopefully get to
check them out....
