have emailed about 30 parks and found nothing

would anyone know of a suitable place

thanks

laser1,

I don't know what the park is like but you could try, if you haven't already, Tomaga River Tourist Park - between Batemans Bay and Moruya which allows pets.

Tomaga River Tourist Park
Sunpatch parade, Tomakin, South Coast, South Coast NSW 2537

Have you tried 'Riverside Caravan Park", Moruya.

Moruya is twenty minutes south of batemans Bay.

The reason I ask is that although having stayed there I can,t recall their pets policy.

Merry Beach

Absolute beach frontage and a top spot just south of Ulladulla. Clean tidy and great location away from the crowded places on the coast.

There is a camp ground/caravan park at Nelligen, about 10klm inland from Batemans bay, right on the banks of the Clyde River. It's a very pretty spot, although the Kings Highway (to Canberra) is just close by too, so there might be a bit of traffic noise. Pub is just across the road.

Good luck.....we lived in B/Bay for 4 years ; 1994 to 1998.

Pleasurelea in Batemans Bay. They take dogs. Gardern of Eden in Eden. Great park which also takes dogs. Highly recommend both!!

Hi,

I found this Aust wide guide to pet friendly caravan parks. It may be of use during your travels.

Pet Friendly Caravan Parks

I grew up on the South Coast and a place I always liked was Lake Conjola, about 20 minutes north of Ulladulla. There's three van parks on the lake and the beach is not far away. One has a small golf course.

I think the parks are called Lakeside, Island View and Lake Conjola Entrance.

I'm not sure if any allow pets (none show in the guide above).

It's been a long time since I've been to Sussex Inlet, but I notice there's a couple of parks listed that take pets. It might be worth a look.

The Eurobodalla Council have a camping area at North Head Moruya (a very popular spot over school hols) It may depend on what you mean by long term how long can stay!

Have you tried the Mogo caravan park? They do long term, and last time I was there (years ago) they took dogs. They've got a boat ramp onto a river, not sure which one.
