Hi Rabbitoh

I have a RC1180 mounted on a slide in my camper. I take it out of the camper when set up as it is easier to level that way. I have a round spirit level attached to the lid which was set on a base of bluetak and centred with the 3 mounting screws while sitting on a known flat concrete floor. These fridges are quite heavy when full so would suggest 60cm slides capable of holding 100k to be on the safe side. Mine are rated at 60 kilo and with the fridge slide at full extension I feel it is a little on the fragile side though have had no signs of breakage. As mine goes back into the camper, there is no box, just a ply drawer with 10mm high density foam edges to cushion the fridge when travelling.

Are you after the best fridge slide?

Black Window produce the HDFS 810 100% extension fridge slide with full 1 year warranty and a 250kg rating. The downside is the cost of $479.00.

I used to own the model suitable for fridges up to 50 litre and can vouch for the quality and strength of build.
Sold the slide as my Black Widow draw system has one built-in.

Bill.
