sydney that can adapt a surf 2.4 auto transfer case to a lexus v8 auto ???

You should look on Marks Adapters site to see if he has one.

It would appear that the 1uz will bolt straight up?? Can't believe your luck if it's that simple.
That's not to say that once it's bolted up it won't tear it apart :)
