Help from Litchfield Guru's

Hi All
Flying our nephew up to Darwin next week for his 18th and was going to go to Litchfield for the day or maybe overnight.
Need some help re some of the tracks.
Lost city, can you still access it via the Blyth Homestead end? Have not done that drive for 18 years, last time it was pretty extreme! I'm guessing the powers that be will have gone soft and closed it?
Reynolds river track, haven't been that way for yonks and need some reminding.
How long does the track take to drive through to the Daly and then from the Daly back to Darwin? Like to take our time doing that drive as I remember it as quite spectacular.
How to contact the Ranger down there as the Reynolds track closes in the wet (not that we have had much rain yet), due to the river height and the fact that the track runs across black soil plains from memory. Don't want another bottomless bogging like we had in east Arnhem Land last year do we Chris :)

Thanks for your help.
Lyndon

Here is a fact sheet below.

Litchfield act Sheet

The track between Blyth Homestead and the Lost City has been closed for a number of years; too many vehicles getting damaged and stuck. So for the Lost City, it is drive in and then back track again. This track was open last weekend and so was the Reynolds River Track. Blyth Homestead to Reynolds River is quite often one of the first to close for the wet - to protect it from damage.

Could be another chance to try out the Maxtrax though Lyndon!
Recovery costs might be cheaper over that way...
