G'day,
I was wondering if anyone can tell me about White Mountains NP (QLD)? I have done some reading but would like some info from people that have been there -
camping, facilities, road conditions, highlights, etc.
I have a 4.2TD Patrol and off road trailer and will be heading up that way in April 2010.
Cheers
Ev

Went in there for a night last year Ev.
Had a drive around, but it is an area popular with walkers.
The road in is signposted "4x4", but you could drive a Coaster bus in. There is a
creek just before the
camping area that would have a Coaster driver look carefully.......that is ALL.
The
camping area is quite pleasant.
There is a
toilet, but no other facilities.
Qld parks require pre-booking. There is no honesty box system and no 'phone coverage........
Cheers,
Peter

Hi Peter,
Thanks for the info. By the way, sorry I missed your call the other week, was out bush with no coverage, thought you probably would have been out of the area by the time I got back home on sunday.
Cheers
