Multi-Stage Smart Battery charger

Does anyone know where I can buy a Multi-Stage Smart Battery charger in Perth WA.

Reply from Durst, they don't make it anymore so it doesn't matter what brand of charger.

Richard,

A bit O/T here- if you don't mind !!
How are the Dueller 661 tyres going ?? How many kms ?? What roads ??
I'm due for new rubber soon- and have always had the 661 in my shirt list.
What pressures you running on your 3 1/2 tonne rig ??
Any othere comments...

Thanks

I've only done 12718 km on them so far but I like them they have been the best feeling tyres I have had on the Troopy (see blog).

They handle this years trip OK, which was the Hunt oil rd, Gary Hwy, Gary Junction Rd, Sandy blight junction Rd, Old Gunbarrel Hwy and Gt central Hwy. (I'm know they are not as difficult as the roads in SA:) we had no flats, no tube problems went Bridgestone this time. 4896 km 4150 km on dirt.

I Run 55 psi rear and 40 psi front when on the black stuff drop 10 psi front and rear on dirt, another 5 psi when in the slower tracks.

We haven't done much this year as I've been layed up for 3 months only started driving again 3 weeks ago.

I like them, they make me feel good having them on there, weird I know but they do.. LOL

Cheers

two because you needed two or two because they where no good? LOL

worst part I have to return to Bruce Rock to fit it, and the stupid van builders only put 30 mm of cable through the wall, inside a hole under a seat.. small van.

Hi Richard, I replaced the so called charger in my van as it only replaced the charge that you used and batteries never fully charged it took four days after instalation for the two calcium batteries to fully charge and now I get four days with out needing to pwer up and the second one in my vehicle which allows me to park up and leave my three fridges running by just connecting to power supply also you can choose the type of battery you are charging and leave them connected to power all the time as the charger will maintain and service your batteries also shut down when fully charged with no current draw, the only thing you need to work out is how many amps you are going to draw when all appliances working this will dictate the size of charger you need I went with two 15amp and I find this fine for my 22ft van and my wehicle as well hope this of some help ti should only take 20minutes to install and they are quiter than what was supplied with my windsor van regards Alan.

Mary

Thanks, I have checked the battery and it is a Fullriver DC-100-12B AGM Batteries for Deep Cycle Service. it is set to wet type, as paper work for the battery's say Initial Charging Currant 20A or small???? 14.5-14.9V/77degF(25degC). so but the Electro paper work it says Gel : 14.2V / Wet : 14.6V / Calcium : 15.5V so I have st it to Wet, I hope I'm right.

And float is set to 13.8V as the Fullriver spec sheet says float 13.6V-13.8V/77degF(25degC)...

cross fingers

Cheers

I use a couple of 25amp ctek smart chargers for all my different applications, which are brilliant.
I think that ABR on this site has a good 20amp model as well.

I've looked at the ctek chargers and they look good, I whet for the one I got because it (sort of) the same as the one that came out, I will admit that I don't know that much about all this stuff, and have to believe what I'm told.

Cheers

Thanks Brett,

I hope you don't get done for ""moderated due to a breach of The Advertising/Self-Promotion Rule"".

Hard to answer the question if you sell then without breaking the rule, but anyway, I brought a new one, it is fitted and working fine, better than the old one, it now has voltage surge protection so I hope it will be OK.

Cheers

Richard
