And it only tells you the head office, nothing about where i can buy the products, is there something wrong with OZTENT and they only sell there products at one place in australia, or am i wrong.

Yeah, you're wrong. As if they'd only sell in one store - get real.
Why don't you ring head office and ask them where the nearest distributor to you is?

They sell them in most
camping stores, If you Email them the will tell you where the nearest one is or you can buy direct from them all prices are on there web site. They are an excellent tent but I would get the fly to go over it.
Cheers Dave..

BCF is a Reseller of the OzTent,
I also called the 1800 number and they can give you a closer Reseller for example in Bairnsdale Vic they can be bought from the
Camping and Outdoor world. (that is the only one I can recall from the ones she rattled off while I was on the phone to her LOL)
Cheers Kev

Kev,
Why did you have to do it for them Kev. If they really want to know, let them do the work.
Its not as though they didn't have access to the phone number seeing as they were able to access the Oztent web site.
Cheers,
Cruiser

Good on ya Kev. Your would no doubt make your grandparents proud helping them out like this.
Most grandkids are flat out even taking the time to talk to their grandparents.
Not everyone shares Cruisers attitude on this.

Thanks again Kev, Cruiser what is wrong with you, all im asking is where to buy the products, im also asking if anyone has one or have used the tent before, because what about if my grandparents buy it and it breaks straight away, its always good to get other peoples options on products before you buy then, What about you Cruiser give me your number and i can ring up you and ask you how the tent is, wait a minute... i can just find a
forum and ask it which then should have some people that know a bit about tents which i know nothing about at all

Hi Tess,
Unless the storage/carrying size is a problem, I would also recommend a bigger tent.
We have an RV3 and is just comfortable for us. The length of 2.1 metres requires transport on a roof rack but the RV1 doesn't give any storage space for clothes etc.
The price on their website is fairly accurate, unless a store has a special on.
A pair of side panels is also a good investment, allowing living/cooking space under cover when weather is RS.
Love our Oztent.
Bill.

Hi Tess
The RV1 is quite small, so make sure this is the size that they realy want. They are not the cheapest tents on the market, but for me, it is the best tent that I have owned. We have the RV4 with the standard side panel and fly. Prior to this we have had many tents, and our previous tent, another good tent by
Southern Cross now rests in the shed.
All the best and your grandparents will be very happy with which ever model they buy.
Cheers

Why not just order direct from the page you were looking at and it will be delivered to their door?
Price is listed there as $849. As others have said though - go for at least the REV-3.
Peter

Thanks again everyone for there help so far, I think my grandparents will want to see one in front of them before they buy it so i don't think buying it online(at least in the first place) is a ggod idea, everyone talking about the size, again thanks for you comments and they may change there mind when they see on in a store, They said something about it takes 90 seconds to put it up or something like that, i haven't seem them since late last week, is that true?, and if anyone else knows other type of stuff like this/other types of tents and so on please tell me, or other tents like this around the same price or cheaper

Buy a Blackwolf Tubo up in 60 seconds and stores easily behind front
seat I have both types of tents and both are great, depends on what I am doing to which one I use.
