If you have internet access www.nearmap.com allows you to
check back
home if you live in a capital city.
It uses aerial photos which are updated once per month ( yes monthly) The images are sold to councils etc for compliance checking (Is your grass too green? - Have you built a non-registered pool?) but is available free for personal use.
Enter an address in the upper left and then zoom in to
check if the washing is on the line. You can also view previous
views and see the sequence of events.
Have fun!!!!!!
Alan

Fred
I agree that it is useless as it doesn't cover the most important place on the planet. That place is
Katherine.
Darwin is just another city of concrete and steel.
Cheers

What excellent pictures. Not always monthly though, my street photos are 2 months old.

I have a public school on my street, so they can be excused for checking 3 times!
And it is good for those who have tenants in their properties, they can
check that their yard isn't being trashed etc..
But
we are all so much losing our privacy.. the only place where you can safely feel alone, private and not have big brother or anyone else watching or barging in on your space is in your own
toilet!

I can't
check on my tenants, the whole street is one pixel (the resolution isn't so good over
Canberra!)
I hope you've got frosted glass! :-)
