Hi, recently bought a dual battery system which came with a fused terminal box as below.. However it connects to the battery via a battery post / pole rather than my fullriver battery which uses 8mm bolts... Is there such thing as a pole to M8 converter , or does anyone know of an alternative?? Thxs

Post a photo of your question please.

A picture is well worth a thousand words!

couple of big washers with a 8 mm hole, covering top and bottom of terminal clamp. Use long M8 screws to screw into battery terminal. Use star washers on top of the two plain washers for better conductivity.
Secure box so it can't move sideways, unscrewing the bolt.
You might want to fill the void inside the clamp with a few smaller washers (and a blob of silicone to stop any rattling) to keep everything centered around the bolt.

Best regards, Peter

Just going by the picture, can you remove the bolt that appears to hold the battery clamp, then bolt the fuse box directly to the battery using that bolt hole? May need a longer bolt perhaps. Bit hard without being there, but it looks as though it's simply all bolted together.

Cheers

Hi,
I have a odyssey battery that has a similar arrangement, you can have it as shown in your photo of your battery or you can use a fabricated post that bolts to the battery in what the company calls a "" brass automotive terminal"", that you can then use your fused terminal on.
Hope that makes sense.

Cut a terminal off an old battery, drill a hole big enough to take your M8 bolt and install as necessary.

Now that is lateral thinking and pretty cheap too!
I would probably have fabricated a post out of a piece of brass rod.

Automotive post terminal adaptors available for Fullriver in both M6 and M8 versions. (we changed the insert spec about a year ago from M6 to M8). If it is a 105Ah, it should be M8 (but check!). Part No is TP08POS and TP08NEG. See pic.Image Could Not Be Found
