Hi all
looking for some ideas as where to go during the July school holidays.
2 weeks, 4WD towing road caravan, current location
Sydney.
One option is to drive a few hours every day or set up a base station and do some off road driving. There are about 4 families together. Don't mind driving 1000 km the first few days. thank you all.

How about out west to
Cobar,
Broken Hill and down the Barrier Hwy to
Yunta or
Peterborough and then into the
Flinders Ranges. Magnificent County and representative of quintessentially "outback". A lot of options homewards for you as
well.
Thoughts?
Mick

Probably better to work out a theme for the holiday and choose destinations based on that and enjoyed activities by the other families. e.g.
If your happy putting in some
miles between highlights then ......
a "caves" run might be an idea, historic mining villages/memorabilia or pick a bushranger/explorer to follow in the footsteps of.
Going to Mt. whatchymacallit and then on to Mt thingymabob can be interesting too.
Bit hard suggesting anything without knowing where you've already been and preferred holiday activities.
