Hi guys and guyesses
I am looking for someone (reputable) to service my ARB difflockers in
Sydney. I live in the "Hills District" (Westie) but prepared to travel a bit if you have someone that you have had first hand experience with and trust.
Just for interest sake the reason I want the service is that I noticed a fair bit ( couple of egg cups full) hydraulic fluid up around the compressor. So I did a bit of elimation and noted the following:
1) Compressor fires up and gets to pressure then cuts out...normal and good
2) Front airlocker on...compressor cuts in...builds upto pressure...cuts out...normal good
3) back air locker on...compressor cuts in...does NOT get upto pressure...not normal not good.
Add oil and 3 together and I reckon I have a blown seal in the rear airlocker.

a mate of
mine lives in 7 hills and fits stuff from
home ( full workshop lathes etc ect) and is cheaper than the shops.
he works for a major 4wd retailer when he is quiet too and knows arb's back to front

Mad matt
Rang Traction 11:30am this Friday and spoke to Dean who, after listening to my vague explaination of the symptoms, suggested I take it over and let them take a look.
Well within 2 minutes of David (service manager) looking he had found the broken air line. Even though they were VERY busy he managed to squeeze me in and all is now repaired. Excellent service, attitude, most helpful. Will be going back. Thanks for the referrral.
