Hi. I was wondering if anyone knows any spots in north west sydney (mainly around the windsor-richmond area) where I can try some of my recovery gear out in sand. Thanks.

Hi J88. Try Kurnell where it will cost $19 for the day and there's plenty of sand dunes. Have you got a sand flag because it gets a bit dangerous in some spots but you should be able to find a quieter area to practice. Tyre pressures/ compressor/food/drinks/... W

Last time I lived in Sydney there weren't many beaches in the NW. From memory Sydney isn't very sandy apart from some spots near the wet blue stuff.

Maybe try somewhere that has mud instead.

Isn't Kurnell on the coast next to the sea....I think it is somewhere near Cronulla...not sure if that is NW Sydney either.

Why not take a weekend and head upto Port Stephens and get yourself bogged on Stockton Beach.
