I am about to purchase a Fridge slide for my Waeco 60 Lt car fridge, what are the various slide units available & what are the pitfalls for the different units.

I have the waeco slide which seems ok although can't really comment on other slides.
One thing to consider is how wide the slides are. Most are made to suit a variety of fridges but the waeco is narrow to just fit the narrower waeco 40/50/60L fridges.

Hi
Have a look at www.platinumgear.com.au, I have one and it makes life for me very easy, yes she can get what she wants out of the fridge and leaves me alone.
Cheers

I've got one of the first batch of those. Best thing I ever bought.

Had a look at that website, thanks - seems a great product for not a lot more than a standard slide. Couldn't see how the end (raising/lowering) bracket fits on the fridge on the video tho'. Does it bolt/screw on, ie would I have to drill into the end of my fridge (Waeco)? Asked Platinumgear but no response yet. Cheers

The bracket on the fridge stores the handle. On mine the bracket replaced the fridge handle and mounted in the fridge handle holes. The new ones are slightly different and appear to mount under the fridge handle using the handle screws.

Looking at buying one from Offroad Systems in the next week or 2. Numerous bods on other sites recommended their unit. Our fridge (ABR Sidewinder) fitted perfectly. The size we're getting is $410 plus $20 to Sydney metro.
