Just a reminder to all that it appears nothing is safe around your
home anymore. Had a near new pair of RM"s stolen last night off my front porch. Unbelieveable. Low life scum. Lock up everything.

RM's don't come cheap either...
But reminds of a "Monty Python" type incident as happened to me a few years ago...
Like yourself - I remove my boots at the back door (standing orders of the Kommandant)...
Now, said boots were not RM's (but a boot is a boot is a boot - right..?)
Anyways, next morning, went to put the boots on, and - bugger me! - there's only the one boot there... And it's the Right boot is missing...
Well... So happens that there's an extended family of 129 persons living in one of the houses up the street... and one of 'em (you guessed it...) is a youngish tearabout who is a Right Amputee...
And I thought - Nah..!!
Too bloody obvious...
Musta been a canine thief...
Hell - even a
Dingo can only carry one boot at a time...
WRONG..!!!
Spotted my boot swinging rhythmically between two crutches on said suspect several days later...
Seems that some people only steal on a Needs-Basis...
True story...

Just reminded me my son lost 4 pair of top of the line Nike sports shoes at school.
His name was in them and they were in his bag or locker when they were taken.
The thing that got up my nose was it was the top catholic school in the area so some little thief was taking them
home and the parents either never bothered to
check why he was wearing brand new shoes or knew their son was a thief and condoned it ! :-(
I think it was probably the latter.
After 4 pairs stolen it was back to Dunlops for our boy, they never stole cheap shoes.
