Hi all,

I have a question for you guys/girls familiar with Waeco fridges.
I have the RAPS 12V power kit and have lost the instructions. I have an 120 ah deep cycle agm auxiliary battery in my trailer with my 80 ltr fridge, I have the RAPS connected wired between the battery and fridge. I also have cable running back to an isolator in the engine bay and then to my main battery.
My question is what do the two settings mean on the RAPS?

Cheers Rob

Rob,

I assume you are referring to the RAPS 12R-U2 Fridge Power Kit?

The Waeco web site refers to the following:-
Switchable between constant power for running portable fridge and on/off with engine for battery charging.

Hi Rob

Green light = on/off with engine

Red light = on/off with battery voltage

If you have your isolator so its switched separately so you manually turn the aux battery on/off yourself and then switch the RAPS to GREEN, the RAPS wont be on (ie Fridge) until the isolator/aux battery is switched on, cheers....
