G'day all. Have a happy
Easter. Have any of you fine folk overnighted at a free spot called" Rocky Waterhole", about 13 or 14 Km. North of Moonie, Qld ? I'm just preparing for our Winter foray North, and like to spend most nights on the way up, and back at a 'freebie'. Just heard today from a friend who moved into a squeezie site at
Stockton C/P for $42.00 per night for a couple. Those with kids must be paying an arm and a leg.Take Care.

Port Stephens Council, which owns 4 parks charges $50 a night unpowered and $60 powered over christmas and
Easter for 2 adults. They don't even publish how much extra for kids. Camping = the family holiday - not any longer!!!

Gday Roger
I spent many nights at rocky
water hole in the early sixties. But that was about 15 km south of
Tamworth.
