Hi everyone,
Went to the caravan and camping show yesterday in
Sydney and found a dream
home caravan to live in for atleast the next 5 years.
My question to you.. Has anyone had any problems with Retreat vans and if so major or minor? What rating out of 10 would you give them?
Also if you do own one or did what did you tow it with?
thanks guys
Cheers

Some indication of size, ATM weight, layout and facilities may help you get some answers.
Otherwise its like trying to do brain surgery with a blindfold on.
Also some careful thought before buying as what we thought was our
"Dream Layout" turned out not to be

Hi roff76
We own a retreat daydream triple bunk van and have travelled Australia with it. We have a 1997 80 series landcruiser Turbo Diesel. We chose the retreat as we planned on long term travel (we ended up going for 16mths) it was a very comfortable van. We did have a few issues with the van in the begining however all was fixed no worries under warranty.
For comfort I give it 9 out of 10
our van is 23ft long and can't always get you to the "out of the way places" - you would need to buy a tent and leave the van somewhere.
They are a big heavy van so you need the correct vehicle to tow it with.
We have decided to sell ours as we are now going to settle till the kids are older and off our hands. Let me know if I can answer any other Q's for you
