Have just purchased a 2004 Prado Grande and had planned to fit the CB radio from our 2000 Prado GXL. However the manual says it MIGHT interfere with the electronics.
Has anyone had any problems or successes do this?

My second Prado is a late 2007 model. The GME unit has been installed just to the left of the steering wheel (lower down). I’ve never heard of UHF interfering with car electronics, if correctly installed.
Regards
Kim

Hi Ali L
Room will be the biggest factor and went for a GME TX3440 in my 2006 Prado. The main head unit is mounted under the front drivers side dash and have never had any interference. All controls are on the microphone and works a treat.
Cheers
Stephen
