Sounds like some serious work going on. I thought you were still on the boat Anne. How is Jo?

Been home a week ! Back to reality, I do love home though.
Jo is very well thanks.
We are running at present as the cook employed 8 weeks back simply did not turn up to start work yesterday !
Charming person.
No you know whats to phone and say he got a better offer or whatever, simply didn't show up, didn't reply to the many messages left on his phone and just left us in the lurch.
I can't abide people who do that, at least a phone call saying ' not coming' would have allowed us to look for a replacement.

cheers, Anne

Gee that sucks. We had a wonderful time wit you guys last year and Paul even mended well, welded the camper back together :-( (never trust the wife to close the back swing gate :-). I should have called, could have come up to cook being an old time chef..

Look forward to seeing you all again

His answer service came in handy when he didn't show I had the pleasure of leaving a ' nice ' message on it, quite polite really but did tell him what I thought he was lacking.
Was double trouble for us as he was bringing his 22 year old son to be kitchen hand so it was 2 staff missing not just one.
Got out of it ok by the looks as have now found a replacement chef.

Had someone try to drive out just day before yesterday with back door of their camper hanging open, Pam noticed and we all yelled and they stopped and closed it.
They were lucky or could have been a mess or damage as well.

cheers, Anne
