I don't tow a caravan but my camper trailer loaded up would be around the two ton mark.

They go very well Toohey.
The Colorado 4x4 dual cab turbo diesel is rated at a 3 ton towing capacity.

We have a rodeo but have not picked up our van as yet

The van manufacturer ( evernew ) checked it out and told us their would be no problems towing with the setup we have.

I would recommend you have a look at DP chips http://www.dpchip.com/

The do seem to work well for economy / power output.
