Hi all,
About 2 months to go until we leave for our trip around OZ.
Wondering if someone can help me out with a question. We plan on taking two surfboards to put on our roof racks. We have the roof racks already but are wondering how we can secure these safely so they dont get nicked at night? Putting them in the car at night isnt an option.
Is there something we can buy, such as some sort of padlock, that will help keep them safe at night?
Thanks.......

If you want to send me an email to grvlsobczak AT aapt.net.au (replace the AT for the appropriate symbol and remove the gaps) I will reply with what I have drawn up. As I am not a member I cannot upload piccies.

There is a product available to do exactly what you desire.
It is called the
SPT Lockable Stap and contains hardened stainless steel ribs down each side.
Available in various lengths.
I have a pair of 2.5 metre straps to secure the Oztent to the roof rack.
Cost around $80 a pair but worth every dollar.
Bill.
