G'day All,
A mate of
mine who lives in
Sydney has just picked up a new 4WD and we are keen to find some good
places between
Sydney and
Canberra to meet up and go driving.
It doesn't have to be spectacular scenery or overly challenging just
places to get off road and get dirty and
home again in a day.
Anyone got any ideas on good spots?
Cheers

Ado,
Try:
Tianjarra Fire trail out from Lake Conjola
Theres a few tracks like cattlemens track out the back of pigeonhouse
Pretty much have a drive along the
braidwood - nowra road and you will find some good spots.

G'day All,
Thanks again for all your
feedback. We have the trip semi-planned with us all meeting at
Goulburn on Sat morning, then off to Wombeyan for stop 1 and probably then to
Dingo Dell for the second night and disperse from there on Monday. I am going to get onto the digi maps tonight and see what I come up with.
Cheers

Sunny Corner up through Turon is great. Not heavy going, would be a good way to get used to the new ride without too much bother :)

I agree this would be a good one to start with a very good easy drive.

Thanks to everyone, looks like there are heaps of options to keep us busy.
Think we will start with the
Sunny Corner trip!

Abercrombie River NP between Taralga &
Oberon. Has some nice camping areas, some easy 4wding. Some sections very difficult if wet (steep clay).
