Should be ok if your tyres are good. The road from Mt Dare to Dalhousie had lots of rocks on it.when I did it. I was down to my last spare so was a bit nervous.

Towed our 17ft Evernew thru there in 2005, on our way to the Kimberly via Tanami Road, heading north, Oodnadatta, Hamilton Stn, Dalhousie Springs, Mt Dare, Finke, Lamberts Centre of Australia, Kulgera. No dramas, just take it easy. Never got around to finishing this trip rout ma, but it does show our route thru there.2005 North West WA Trip Have the trip notes/diary for that part of the trip somewhere, could send them if your interested.

Enjoy the trip We did :-))

We are planning the trip from SA to Alice via Oodnadatta, Dalhousie, Mt Dare & either Finke to Alice or the old Andado track. Will have to check the road conditions before we leave as the Finke race is on the June long weekend and I've heard that plays havoc with the track.

If anyone can let us know which would be the better route please advise
