Howdy all you BananaBenders,

I'm overnighting in Kilcoy at the moment (Sunday night) and tomorrow(Monday) will be going down to Caboolture and then Virgina and returning via Caboolture to Maleny in the afternoon.

Is there anywhere that I can wash my van? It's looking a bit yukky and needs a good tub.

I don't mind a commercial carwash place or even the back of an industrial unit. I've got all the gear, just need a tap.

Here's hoping....

cheers

There are two car washes in Caboolture. One on Gympie road the other Morayfied Dr.

Happy travels.

If you don't have any free success, i have used the truck wash at the Shell at the end of Nudgee Road (not far from Virginia) in the past. Link to Google Map location:

Shell Service Centre - Streetview

Otherwise there is/was some Car Lovers at Virginia etc. see this old thread:

Hope that helps.

This one is good and right on the freeway. Has good freeway on ramp and distance to get up to speed for merging. There will be lots of trucks there around lunch time however. It is in the same road as ARB if you happen to be heading there.

It's also a coles express if you use fuel dockets too.

I'm guessing your staying at the showgrounds, only live about 300mts down road. Cheers Ken

Thanks everyone for your kind offers and advice. I really appreciate it.

A very nice member of the EO family has offered, by MM, the use of his front verge. How good is that?

My baby will look all shiny again.

Thanks once again everyone. Luv yuz all.

Anytime any of you want to become West Australians, after our now inevitable seccession from the Commonwealth, I'll vouch for you.

Sorry Steve, I seen this thread too late. I am at Virginia and would have most certainly offered to make you a cuppa while you washed the rig on my footpath if I had of seen this earlier.

Travel safe wherever you are going.
Trevor.
