Hey Bruce,
Can you and Annie grab a big can of sunshine way up north and post it down to us poor folk who live in NSW. Cold as charity here in
Tamworth this time of year.
Have a great trip mate and give Annie a hug from me.
Cheers

No worries
John, might be a bit hard for the can of sunshine, but I am sure I can give Annie a hug from you lol. We have had a funny winter here no 0's as yet and the occasional shower but the fire has been going non stop.

they are up here on the beaches just now and they are very thirsty

Hey Bruce, have a good one up there - starting to feel like the cold coming in again tonight. Stay safe.

Hi Ruth, down to the 1's around Kingaroy next week, hope I have not gotten use to the cold weather, the warmth up north might be to much for us hahahaha. All the best.

There is a great caravan park at Cowley Beach just north of
Mission Beach.
The lessee is
John Simpson and he has cleaned out the riff raff (his words) who were permanents there. When we stayed there last month our van was 10>15 paces from the beach. The place is very tidy and very clean. But be warned there isn't much to do there other than fishing and relaxing
The temperature dropped down to 18deg last night in Townsville and out came all the beanies, ugg boots & warm jackets. Though thongs were the norm for footwear.
Have a great stay in Gods' Country

I second that, I was stayed there for a week, take plenty of sand fly repellent, as I was bitten every time I went near the water.
There is nothing to do there other than fish, no pubs, no clubs and no shops etc (other than the Caravan Park
shop)
Johns business partner Trevor spends his days there, and say "hello" to Dianne in the
shop for me he he he
