Hi all,
I've pretty much set up a million oziexplorer waypoints to prep my trip, but am not 100% sure if all the roads i'm looking at are public access/workable.
so if anyone in the know wants to have a look, i'd love that. i can email oziexp wpt file
The plan is to travel from:
bourke to
wanaaring,
through
tibooburra,
cameron corner,
up the
bore track to
innamincka,
up cordillo rd through
cordillo downs,
to birdsvulle dev rd,
birdsville,
north to
boulia
and across the donohue/plenty
to
alice springs.
Cheers all!

That all looks pretty straight forward.
Don't forget to call in to Bollards Lagoon station to pay your fee and pick up a mud map before you do the
Bore Tk.
Most (all?) of these roads are suitable for 2WD, but have you checked to confirm that they are all open?

The Nat'l Parks section of the
Bore Track is still closed by the floods/damage, so travel via Merty Merty

Janek,
Have a look through the ExplorOz Road Conditions to ensure all of the roads you are travelling are currently open -

***Ok, UPDATE***
Bore track is closed, so what is the best and quickest way from
cameron corner to
innamincka? via merty merty seems a big detour, but is it still the quickest?
Looking at the weather forecast, weds next week is looking like heavy rain... eep!
