Free camping spots around Gascoyne?

Hi Knowledge Gurus,
I am heading up through
Gascoyne Junction on my way to
Exmouth with 14 people and are looking for a cheap (free) camping spot around that way.
Preferably out of the way somewhere. Has anyone got any ideas?

If you are going up the
Carnarvon-
Mullewa Rd then
Bilung Pool could be a suitable spot.
For a fee you can
camp at Bidgemia Station. Dont know whether camping is OK at
Rocky Pool - that was a great spot.

Drive up the western side of the
Kennedy Range and up to the top.
There are a few pics burried in this slide show.
Talk to Parks first, and you need a decent map.
