Well I have just completed the rewrite of the user validation program. This process now forces you to enter a unique Screen Name for use on the ExplorOz system. Additional to this once you are configured you cannot change the Screen Name.

I will be writting a check process shortly that will check your current screenname and if you are not unique you will have the chance of changing it. This will be done shortly.

Members can still change their screennames at this stage I will look at this system shortly to see what I can do on that front also.

That is the idea. I have not worked out which Andrew is Andrew so I will shortly be sending all clashed screen name users to screenname re-entry - I think. I have not worked this out yet but you can be sure that there will be no new Andrew's appearing in the system.Regards

Ah there can be one Skippy, Sylvester, Tom and Garfield. But only one when I work out the best way to fairly allocate the clashing names.Regards

I am actually going to let member be able to change their screennames at any time. The only rule will be that the name used by the member must at the time be unique. So Diamond - Dodo or whatever members get something else on the system.Regards
