I'm after contact details for
Lake Eyre flights from Maree. Any suggestions? And any comments from those who may have tried a flight from Maree?
Many thanks.

Someone last year recommended the

When we were there last year we wandered into the pub in the afternoon and enquired about flights over the
lake. No wories says the
young barman bloke thats (however much it was...I just firget know) and he takes our booking and takes the morning. Just be here at 9 in the morning.
Next morning at 9 the mini bus arrives with the
young bloke at the wheel, he then drives out the airport and starts doing preflights checks on the plane.....yep he was
the pilot as
well. :-)
Highly reccomend the flight from the pb as they use a cessna caravan which offers fantastic and is more comfortable than the 172/182's the other guys use.

The Maree Cafe is also doing flights - some about $240 - not sure whether that was
Lake Eyre or
Cooper Creek.

We took flights over
Lake Eyre last year via the Oasis Cafe. Very organised (and for a not so good flyer I felt quite safe) and really enjoyed the flight - not cheap ($250 pp I think). We couldn't fly on our planned flight due to a dust storm but managed to get a flight the next day. We thought it was worth the cost.
Cheers
