Is it a jpeg file??

If it is just use the insert image icon.

Hi

from website

"Tip: For images resize to max 800 pixels before upload"

What size is the image? You may have to open in an image editing program and resize/resave it.

Cheers

Greg
Why resize it, reduce the quality using FastStone photo resizer , convert a 200kb file to 130kb but retain size,

ExplorOz resizes images to a maximum of 800 pixels, either width or height. Just uploaded a 6.95MB, 4288 X 2848 pixel image which has been automagically resized to a 140KB, 800 X 531 image.

Pixel numbers (for displaying with minimal disruption) is the limit here....

Obviously the EO servers would love it if the image is under the limits in the first place :)

You could post up to a 2MB file in the Member's FileSwap area though you may lose control over deleting the image later (not sure). It would be available to view/download to members only.

Hope that helps.

Vince,

There is an "Insert Image" button at the bottom of an active post.

Click on the button and you will see a new menu box where you are asked to enter the location of the jpg file. You can use the browse function to drill down to where it is on your computer.

After the system has loaded the file, you must then enter a cation of some king in the second box.
You can then use the preview function to see if it has worked successfully.
Only in the preview window will you see the picture. The post or reply where you are loading the image will just show a string of characters until after you have submitted your post or reply.

Bill.
