Hi all,
Thinking of a trip up the
Birdsville track -returning via the Strez
Have had a look at
places etc but need a bit of advice re a
campsite between B and Inna.I guess it's doable in a day but want to go easy and have a potential spot in mind in case of holdups eg punctures etc. Will probably be a solo vehicle trip at this stage but
well equipped etc
Appreciate your advice,
Cheers,
mary

We just went up that way a couple of weeks ago.
Plenty of opportunities to
bush camp just pick a good spot near some wood and away from the road.
Spoke to the owners at Coradillo Downs and they said as long as you took your rubbish and didn't
camp in the 'house' paddock they were pretty happy with the arrangement

Add quality and take two days if you can - as mentioned, there are plenty of
creek crossings on that run to pick for a
camp - some might be holding
water still but suggest you check them for mozzies first - we were driven out of one such
camp a few years back by mega mozzie attack.
