Warren,

My heart truly goes out to you, I CAN imagine how you must have been feeling and what a relief you are now experiencing. When one's life-partner is threatened it is, indeed, a sobering moment. Best Wishes to both of you.

I say this after nearly 40 years of happy marriage, and as life moves on, trying to close my mind to the same potential situation.

Hey Warren, after so many kilometers together, I am glad that Barbara has the reconditioned valves and pump upgrade. The chip will be tweaked by the time she so you better be fit for that now mate.

Mate I hope everthing goes well, one thing about ICUs if you see the Doctor in charge you can stay as long as you like most will have or be able to get a recliner chair for you.Over the years we have had a sick daughter (even as an adult)and myself or my wife stayed at her side taking shifts for weeks on end, just stay out of their way, be friendly, wash your hands all the time but just let them know your intentions, they wont mind and may even encourage your staying.
I know that words cannot help in these situations but be strong and be there for her.

Hi Ausiechef, Sorry to hear of your wife's op, I can only imagine what you and your family are going through right now. Hubby and I have been married for 39 years and the thought of him going through something like that terrifies me. Our prayers and good wishes to you all and a speedy recovery for your wife.

G/Day
Best wishes for your wife and yourself, every thing will be fine, she is in good hands, in this day and age modern medicine is fantastic, they will have her up and about in no time at all, my Cook had a similar procedure last October, and she is all good now, like others we have been married for 41 years come December and are looking forward to another 41 years, it's got me buggered why she puts up with me, I know it's not my looks it must be my sense of humour.

Cheers

Barbara isn't out of the woods yet
heart wont work without help of a machine
Might be as simple as adding a pacemaker
(she wont make it thru airport security screens already with the 2 metal valves lol )
they are waiting to see first if it will kick into action by it self
before they decide to go back in or what!!!!
Shes feeling prity good though lol
Id say its the drugs.but shes barking orders for me to get back to work,Warren jr to pay his rent & George not to get a tattoo at a tattoo party tonight & Gwenneth to get back and look after her kids so she can come spoil them lol
