I am going to leave NSW in a fortnight to go to Alice Sp. I wanted to check on road closures etc. I could go any way but would like to go:
Willcannia, White Cliffs, Tibooburra, Epsilon, Innaminka, wlkers Crossing, Birdsville, Boulia and across the Plenty.
Or; Tibooburra, Nappa Merri and Boulia etc.
Road closures are the issue, I imagine.
Thanks in anticipation.

Yep forget Walkers Crossing. Go up through Cordillo Downs to Birdsville. From there all should be good.

Cheers

The district 'Birdsville track' got an average approx. 2inchs for July kinda wet and boggy with some small falls expected Mon. but had some nice drying days but little bits of rain seem to be causing havoc as the country is just so wet. Whatever happened the top end of the Birdsville it put a metre in the Warburton

Thanks very much to you all - I might also ring a Police station or two along the way.

You should check on the Plenty Highway as it was closed just recently- I am not sure of its current status

don't ask me why but we just got rained on again out in desert and apparently Marree got some as well making old Lyndhurst road nice and slippery. The rain wasn't even on the radar just keeps coming, loads of people on the track at the moment should be interesting driving.
