Hi Larry,
You may
well be the "resident" expert on Track
Ranger soon enough.
Most of the folk on ExplorOz use OziExplorer which is the pseudo standard on this site. Track data and Waypoints are uploaded, downloaded and shared by many people.
Bill.

Hi Larry,
I have been using TR for some time and like everything the two systems have their good and bad points.
I just had to persevere and follow the instructions.
I also use the BU-353 mouse type gps receiver which I place on the vehicles roof and found it extremely fast and it plugs in to the USB port.
It can be rather daunting but don't give up.

Hi Larry, I have been using the track
ranger software for a while and find it good. I have it on a notebook with BU 353 GPS mouse. I went through the manual that came with the CD and it was quite informative but I still went back to track
ranger with a few queries and they were very helpful. The reason I went with track
ranger was it appeared easier to use and although Ozi has more to offer, it takes longer to learn and I don't have the time at present.
Cheers
Mark

Larry,
I've been using it for three years now. I'm in the inner west of
Melbourne if you're prepared to travel over one afternoon. Send me an MM.
Cheers Mick
