Just wanted to say how great it was to meet fellow EO forumites at the show today.

The show was ok, we got a couple of bargains and so did Wombat...

Well Ma.....
My wife, a friend and I walked around the show today from 2.30 to 5.30 and glanced at every womans left breast pocket looking for Grierson Engineering but allas - there were some nice monikers but not the one we were looking for. Should have had your straw hat on and we could have picked ya. Plenty of old girls around all having a good time so glad you did too.

We got some great bargains on fishing stuff at the end of the show. Great to check out all the campers that were there but otherwise it was a bit ho hum.

you obviously didn't look hard enough, perhaps you should have been looking up rather than down...

We all met at 2.00pm but didn't got to the cafe until 2.30pm you probably walked past us...too bad you were looking for an old girl...no wonder you didn't spot me...we headed for the cafe and had a great chat & a laugh...

Hi Mr and Mrs Al,

I agree, it was a great day, and fantastic to be able to meet more ExplorOz devotees. I big, "well done" to BJ who flew down from Sydney, just to say hello and put some screen names to faces.

I am looking forward to next weekend, to put some faces behind some wheels and see how we all go.

The weather doesn't look like it is going to be too crash hot, but I am sure that we will all keep warm after the driving around a nice fire, sipping on body warming fluids.

Although we live at the other end of the country, we have had our share of enjoyment, with a family of E.O. members who we had met on our last trip away. They stayed with us for 4 nights and we had an excellent time showing them around and sharing in food, tales and laughs. This morning they left to continue their travels, hoping to be back in WA early next year. It is great to meet up with people of the same mind. Ma, Can't you organise a Christmas party for all your E.O. kids?? I am sure they would deserve santa. Jen

Great idea Jen!

Mrs Al, I am sure people would luv to visit Romsey. With all Al's sheds, there should be heaps of room. As long as there is enough room to pitch a tent, and Mr Al is Santa (or maybe Diamond, as he only has to die the beard).

Something to talk about in the future I guess.

we've got a couple of acres that could easily accommodate tents...

this year might be pushing it though...only spare weekend we have is the weekend before Chrissie...but...I guess it could be something to think about in the future....
