Gidday

My understanding is that the WA police's new digital communuications system can't be picked up by the public any more.

Cheers ...

Hi William,

Bunbury is 468.175
Harvey 468.075
Busselton 468.550
Manjimup 468.450

The modern age of digital radio (or tv for that matter) hasn't invaded the Southwest yet.

Cheers Neil

Apparently you are allowed to listen, but it is illegal to act on what you hear.

EG. Your not allowed to ring your mate when you hear his house is about to get raided.

Not allowed to ring hubby/wife saying where the booze bus is etc

If it's a digital encrypted signal it is illegal, analogue signals you can listen to legally unless it is a telephone (Telecommunications act).
