Hi all, Mick O, mentions a glue called Maverick Bond in his post about tyre repairs,etc....I have tried, Repco,Super Crap, Burstons & a few other "favorite" shops but to no avail...does anyone know of a "shop" where I can purchase some Maverick Bond glue?

Sticks like you know what to a blanket. Got mine at the Perth Royal Show a while back. Dad borrowed it to fix an rubber O ring and that was 2 years or more ago and it's still working fine.

Nev hit the nail on the head. I got mine direct through one of the distributers listed. I've had mine sitting in the fridge for 2 years now and it's still going strong. Used the filler for the first time this year on a particularly big gash in one of Scotties tyres. Worked well. Unlike super glue it remains flexible and doesn't go brittle meaning it's great for sealing up a gash in a tyre.

Cheers Mick

Hi Mick,
how much have you used over this time? Did you just buy the filler and bond individually or did you get one of the packages?

NevI got a package, had the filler, primer, glue and solvent. Have used about 1/4 over the two years on tyres and a few other things. Lasts well and keep it in the fridge to facilitate that. Solvent is a must.

Hi Mick,
thanks for that. I wonder if EO shop would be interested in selling it? I notice they have the following message on their web site.

"For trade and frequent users of the Maverick Bond, why not join our Trade Discount Scheme and SAVE!!!! It's free to register so please complete the application form and either email or fax back to the Sydney office."

I suppose it would depend on how many potential customers there would be.
